Divya and Drishti are sisters separated at a young age. Gifted with superpowers, Drishti has the ability to see the future while Divya has the power to change it. But their parents are worried as an evil witch is hunting them, in want of using their powers. Trying to save the girls, Vidya and Sarthak die. The sisters run away and get separated ultimately getting adopted by different families.
20 years later[edit]
Divya and Drishti have grown up. They constantly try to find each other and feel each other's presence at times but are unable to identify each other.
Drishti gets a job to be the assistant of a business man named Rakshit Shergill. Love blossoms between Rakshit and Drishti, but she is unaware that Divya who is in the same house has also developed feelings for Rakshit. Rakshit's mother asks him to marry Divya and he agrees reluctantly. On the marriage day, Drishti comes to know about Divya being her younger sister. Through a series of events, Divya gets married to Shikhar while Drishti gets married to Rakshit. Soon, Divya discovers the truth about Drishti being her elder sister and the two reunite. They decide to find their parents' murderer.
Drishti comes to know about Pishachini who has disguised herself as Preeto. Drishti, Divya, Romi and Shikhar join hands to destroy Pishachini and manage to kill her but her soul enters Divya's body. Thus, Divya transforms into Divyachini who tries to kill Drishti but is saved by a person named Anjaan. Under Anjaan's guidance, Drishti manages to separate Divya and Pisachini. Eventually, Pishachini gets back into her previous body, this time becoming even more powerful. Anjaan is then revealed to be Rakshit.
Meanwhile, Rakshit announces his wedding to Lavanya. Romi questions him due to which Rakshit reveals that he is doing so to gain Pishachini's trust so that he can save his father who is held captive by her. Rakshit and Drishti get divorced.
